Lincoln Lights text alerts

SMS Terms

These terms explain how the Lincoln Park Lights operational text-alert program works and how to control your subscription.

Effective August 30, 2026

Program name and purpose

The program is called Lincoln Lights Text Alerts and is operated by Lincoln Park Lights. It provides recurring automated informational messages that may include weather closures, delayed openings, early closings, major traffic conditions, and material schedule changes affecting Lincoln Park Lights.

How to opt in

You can request enrollment through the form at LincolnLights.Christmas/alerts. The SMS consent checkbox is separate, optional, and unchecked by default. After service activation, we may send a confirmation message asking you to reply YES before the subscription becomes active.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on weather, operations, and schedule conditions. Lincoln Park Lights does not charge for the alert program, but message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Check with your wireless carrier for details.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any Lincoln Park Lights text to opt out. We will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further program messages will be sent unless you enroll again. Other commonly recognized opt-out words may also be honored.

How to get help

Reply HELP for assistance, visit LincolnLights.Christmas/alerts, or call Lincoln Park Lights at (309) 324-5483.

Consent

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing a ticket, visiting Lincoln Park Lights, or receiving any other service. You must be the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide and be authorized to consent to messages at that number.

Supported carriers and delivery

Message delivery is subject to your wireless carrier’s network availability and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Lincoln Park Lights is not responsible for delays or failures outside its reasonable control.

Appropriate use

Do not submit a number you do not own or control. You agree not to use the signup service fraudulently or in a way that disrupts the website or messaging program.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect mobile numbers and consent records. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to the program or terms

We may modify or discontinue the program and may update these terms. The effective date identifies the current version. If a material change requires new consent, we will request it before relying on the new terms.
